After several years of writing, of composing and of being ridiculous, which resulted in an album put out in 2005 on which they were responsible for all instrumentation and production, they decided to draft musicians ANTOINE ASHTON (guitar and voice), GUILLAUME PROULX (drums, percussion and voice) and OLIVIER JOMPHE (bass guitar and electronica) in order to bring to the stage the musical wild imaginings of Mr. Mercier and Mr. Keay.

Formed within the framework of a series of monumental head trips (namely adolescence), the group 37 Laval is the brainchild of SIMON MERCIER (songwriter and performer, guitar, bass guitar, piano and voice) and of DAVID KEAY (songwriter and performer, guitar and voice).
